The LIFE Initiative currently has 92 volunteers in social coaching (as of October 2024). What drives us? Our volunteers report:
Asina (volunteer): “Working at LIFE gives me a sense of purpose. I enjoy making help accessible to people, supporting them individually and appreciatively, and taking them a step further.”
Christine (volunteer): “Helping people is practically in my blood and I’m always thinking in a solution-oriented way. So I’m very happy to help people in difficult life situations overcome hurdles with the authorities.”
Franziska (employee): “I have joined LIFE because I 100% support the idea, and because I want to contribute to their valuable mission. At the same time, I am excited to gain experiences that will help me advance my personal and professional goals!”
Nele (volunteer): “Working as a social coach is a great challenge and I learn a lot. I am happy when I can help people to find a way out of difficult life situations.”
Nik (volunteer): “In today’s society, we often live in our own bubble. Working for the LIFE Initiative gives me the opportunity to help people who are left alone and to broaden my own horizons at the same time.”
Nina (volunteer): “I volunteer with the LIFE Initiative because I want people to feel welcome in Germany instead of struggling with the many bureaucratic hurdles. I want to make a positive impact and be there for people who are in despair.”
Rachel (volunteer): “As a foreigner, I have experienced the hurdles of German bureaucracy myself. I am very touched that I have found a way to volunteer for something that really changes people’s lives and at the same time gives my own life meaning. Every new case is an opportunity to learn, share experiences and meet different people in so many life situations.”
Ramin (founder): “My vision for the LIFE Initiative is to make support with bureaucracy for people in need as accessible as possible. I know very well how hard administrative hurdles can be. I am proud of our great team of volunteers and the way they empower people to change their lives.”
Ruben (volunteer): “In today’s society, we often live in our own bubble. Working for the LIFE Initiative gives me the opportunity to help people who are left alone and to broaden my own horizons at the same time.”
Zehra (volunteer): “Volunteering as a social coach gives me the opportunity to support people and accompany them on their personal journey. It fulfills me to help others and stand by them in difficult situations. At the same time, I see this work as a way to develop my skills and make a positive contribution to the community.”
